A practical comparison
nutribullet Baby blender, bundle and Steam + Blend compared
The nutribullet Baby line splits baby-food preparation into three different jobs. The standalone NBY50100IN blends and portions food; the NBY50100-30 Baby Food Bundle adds a separate Turbo Steamer; and the NBY50200 Baby Steam + Blend has a single work-bowl steam-and-blend routine. Those workflows answer different questions. The bundle adds another appliance and transfer, while the NBY50200 combines stages in one bowl. Do not choose by the shared Baby name alone.
NBY50100IN: blend and store, without a steamer
The standalone NBY50100IN is a 200-watt blender with a Batch Bowl, Short Cup, Extractor Blade, six storage cups with tray, freezer tray and other pieces listed on its U.S. product page. It is the simpler route when you already have a way to cook ingredients or want to blend foods prepared separately. The product page does not state the included bowl or Short Cup capacity, so neither should be treated as a confirmed 32-ounce batch vessel. A separately sold replacement bowl described as 32 ounces is not proof that the in-box bowl has the same size.
Its control routine is one-speed push-and-twist blending with Pulse, not a numbered speed dial or a timed smoothie menu. The official Baby guide limits motor operation to one minute at a time, gives a MAX-line rule without naming the line's ounce volume, and advises against hot ingredients in sealed vessels. The page lists cups, lids and freezer tray as top-rack safe; the blade is hand-washed to protect its gasket. Portioning pieces can be useful when you want to prepare several small batches, but the blending vessel size and standalone package limits matter more than the accessory count.
Read the NBY50100IN review for its exact package list, unknown vessel capacities and care distinctions. It does not include a steamer, so it cannot satisfy a requirement to cook food in the appliance.
NBY50100-30: add a separate Turbo Steamer
The NBY50100-30 package combines a Baby blender with the Turbo Steamer BSR-0801N. The steamer performs steaming, defrosting and sterilizing; the blender purees. The official steamer guide describes five settings and a built-in timer, plus a measuring cup, defrosting trays, sterilizing tray and egg tray. But the steam stage does not automatically transfer food into a blender: the workflow is steam, allow the food to cool, move it to the blender and puree.
This bundle is a better fit than the standalone blender when a dedicated small steamer would be useful, and a worse fit when counter space, one-step operation or avoiding extra dishes is the priority. Its product page itemizes the steamer's components but does not separately identify the bundled blender sub-SKU or repeat the blender's cup/storage list. That leaves the bundle's exact blender wattage, controls, blade care and numeric vessel capacities unconfirmed. Do not borrow NBY50100IN specifications to fill those gaps, even though that separate Baby page gives a useful family reference.
See the NBY50100-30 review for the separate-appliance sequence and its manual-based safety limits. Steamer safety is also distinct from blender use: use the included parts and the steamer guide, keep clear of hot steam, and let equipment cool as directed.
NBY50200: one-bowl Steam + Blend
The Baby Steam + Blend NBY50200 is the line's single-bowl alternative. Its manufacturer describes steam and blend functions in one Work Bowl, including an Auto Steam + Blend routine. It avoids the bundle's separate steamer-to-blender transfer, but the exact work-bowl ounce capacity and MAX-line volume are not published. The guide's permission to blend food hot from steaming in the locked Work Bowl is specific to that model; it does not apply to NBY50100IN's sealed Short Cup or an unnamed blender component in the bundle.
Start with the question that will change the choice: must cooking and blending happen in one bowl, in separate appliances, or is blending/storage alone enough? If same-bowl automation is essential, NBY50200 has the relevant documented sequence. If you want a separate steamer, the bundle has it but adds handling steps. If you already cook elsewhere and want batch and storage pieces, NBY50100IN is the dedicated blender choice. If a minimum capacity is essential, none of these should pass on an unknown volume; seek a maker-published vessel specification for the exact package instead.
What all three have in common—and what they do not
These are small-batch baby-food products, not substitutes for a full-size family pitcher when a large smoothie or soup batch is the normal task. The two-blade design choices, vessel sizes, cleaning rules and cook/blend sequence should not be inferred across SKUs. Follow the exact product's manual for assembly, cooling, storage and cleaning; the general Baby identity does not remove those model-specific limits. No personal performance tests, texture rankings or measured results are claimed here.
Compare the model-level assessments before buying: Baby NBY50100IN standalone blender, Baby Food Bundle NBY50100-30, and Baby Steam + Blend NBY50200. Current manufacturer pages showed the first two as new offers when checked October 24, 2026; availability can change, so treat that as a dated observation rather than a stock promise.
